Overview
A HUMAN is the ancestor species of the now destroyed "Sol" solar system. Witnesses to their own homeworld's destruction and cruelty, they have spent three centuries wandering the darkness between galactic arms. Barely surviving their journey, their culture has fragmented and changed into something far more alien. They are accepted with open arms to the Emergency Coalition, and are the beneficiaries of welfare programs. Though traumatized, their lifespans and quality of life have increased drastically.

Traditional HUMAN societies are shaped by SPIRITUALISM, RESPONSIBILITY, and PRAGMATISM. Their leaders, the MYSTICS in cryogenic cyan, and the LABORERS in foundry-fire orange, are only given the respect of leadership by the people through fidelity. The more responsibility assumed by any, the more they are held to consequence and exalted. Tradition venerates the DREAMERS, those who have spent so long in cryogenic suspension that they can no longer be revived. They commune through ORACLE terminals.

Overview
A KHARGUIN is a bipedal canid who is descendant of venerated clans and inherited grief. ORAL TRADITION speaks of their ascension to sapience through a PROGENITOR, before being cast to the stars in noble sacrifice, their creators consumed by THE ADVERSARY. Though official members of the Emergency Coalition, their tribes are independently ran, as their ENDLESS CRUSADE against the ADVERSARY must continue.

Traditional KARGUIN societies are defined by WELFARE, WARFARE, and MOURNING PROPHECY. ODSARS serve as mystic advisors and leaders, separate from the politicking of CLANS. Though WARRISH in aesthetic, KHARGUIN society splits meaningful life twofold: PIETY through infirmity and the ascension of; PRESTIGE through valiant EXTERMINATION of THE ADVERSARY'S abominations. Their clans are varied in politics and way of life.

Overview
A DAKTARI is an amphibious cuttlefish-like biped scattered among the ENCLAVES of the Emergency Coalition. They are the descendants of REBELLIOUS SECTS who enacted their own homeworld's destruction in order to deny their government a greater evil. To this day, many DAKTARI experience a xenophilic upbringing, with a focus on being outspoken ADVOCATES for themselves and others, whether in social change or societal progress.

Traditional DAKTARI societies value ACTION, RESEARCH, and TEMPERANCE. Though the DAKTARI no longer have a declared homeworld, they often operate through ENCLAVES, or smaller organizations based on interest and societal contributions. It is taboo for a DAKTARI to claim ongoing ownership of a DISCOVERY, instead, they are rewarded by high-ranking members of an ENCLAVE additional ADDENDUMS to their NAME: this is considered the height of PRESTIGE.

Overview
An USTAMORE can trace their lineage back to the reign of the Thousand Year Empire. Though ENSLAVED by the empire, the USTAMORE are responsible for the bulk of the REBELLION'S participation. Through a vivid history of RESISTANCE and SABOTAGE, their contributions are memorialized in many of the Emergency Coalition's facilities. FEARLESS and GRITTY, the USTAMORE can be found on space stations and planets alike.

Traditional USTAMORE societies value DETERMINATION, ASSERTIVENESS, and FORCE. Though there is a declared USTAMORIN homeworld, there is immense cultural focus on ADAPTATION and the creation of HOME anywhere one may be. Wisdom is spread through APHORISM, multi-cultural beliefs are ENFORCED, and PROWESS is proved through TRIALS and PHYSICAL CONTEST. Colorful words are considered MEANINGLESS unless one can PROTECT.

Overview
A HAKKAN is a bipedal, aquatic, carnivorous descendant of the Thousand Year Empire. Many HAKKAN were spared the blade during the end of the Thousand Year Empire, during the NIGHTS OF A HUNDRED KNIVES, by abdicating to, or assisting, resistance movements. As these events are CENTURIES in the past, wrongs have since been compensated, but there are many MONUMENTS to the Emergency Coalition's TRIUMPH over the EMPIRE.

Traditional HAKKAN societies entirely shun Imperial culture, valuing PERSONAL EXPRESSION, ART, and DIPLOMACY. Predominately existing as COMMUNES, or as SHOALS in larger communities, HAKKANLAR often do not practice centralized POWER STRUCTURES, favoring COMMUNAL LEADERSHIP. As such, their communities are often WELCOMING, or OVERTLY WARM to newcomers to the galactic sector, with ACTS OF SERVICE exalted amongst their kin.

Overview
A RATTAKAR is a rodent-like biped presenting with intermittent thick scale-patterns, descendants of a MERCHANT REPUBLIC beneath the Thousand Year Empire's rule. Their lands were spared ANNIHILATION and RUIN by means of political savvy, engaging in SUBTERFUGE to assist the rebellion. The Emergency Coalition utilizes the WARRENS created by RATTAKARI civil engineers to great effect, historically making them HUBS and DENSELY POPULATED centers of refuge.

Traditional RATTAKAR societies value ARTISANS, CIVIL SERVICE, and IRREGULAR JUSTICE. The LABOR RIGHTS and PERSONAL FREEDOMS many RATTAKAR have historically enjoyed are purchased on the back of VIOLENCE and SUBTERFUGE. It is not considered murder to eliminate ROBBER BARONS and DESTRUCTIVE IDEOLOGUES. The way paved to UTOPIA is not founded on ABUSE, INJUSTICE, or DISCRIMINATION. They are known for ostentatious COURTING RITUALS and casual AFFECTIONS and ROMANCE.
