The Mirror is a nexus for the supernatural. Many cultures have different names for its effects, and often blur the lines between fact and folklore. It is important to understand that all matters to do with the Mirror are shaped by the individual realities within, called Shards. These places do not obey conventional laws within material reality. Instead, creatures and locations associated with Shards obey domains that they are relative to. For instance, the Scrape holds power through the tragedies and terrors of conflict. Its creatures only understand its laws of suffering, its locations are defined by exaggerated and grotesque warfare, and empowers those that spread its influence.
